8 December 2011 The Summer newsletter is out. Read all about the BANG theory of wine pricing, our new and current releases and upcoming events. Meanwhile, we're finalising blends and preparing for bottling in January. The cool nature of the 2011 season certainly shows in some pretty exciting wines.
18 November 2011 Would you give money to these men? No? Well how about to Movember on behalf of team Mount MOjura Vineyard? Please see the team page with links for (left to right) Andrew, Frank, Fergus and Stuart.
15 November 2011 Our 2011 Riesling is released! It is always an exciting and proud moment to put a new wine forward, but this time there is also the updated label to show off for the first time. We think it still captures the Mount Majura Vineyard style, but in a new and vivid way. We hope you like it. At the end of the day of course it is what's inside the bottle that counts, and this Riesling is delightful—a true reflection of our site in a cool year. See the Riesling page for details.
8 November 2011 Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed Wine Roses and all that Jazz on the weekend. It was very busy but a great time. It was also a successful weekend for us at the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show, with the 2010 TSG (sold out a couple of weeks ago) collecting its third gold medal and third trophy, this time for best blend.
Meanwhile there are a few laughs in the winery as we participate in Movember (Jessica excluded). You can follow our team progress and sponsor us at Team Mount MOjura Vineyard.
24 October 2011 We're enjoying Spring and the place has never looked better. There's a smile on our faces too, with some great awards recently. We won the trophy for Most Successful Exhibitor a the Canberra Regional Wine Show this year, including gold medals for 2011 Pinot Gris, 2010 Dinny's Block, 2009 Merlot and 2010 TSG. The TSG also won the trophy for 'Best Dry Red Other Varieties and/or Blends'. This came after the TSG had won the equivalent trophy at Winewise Small Vignerons Awards as well. To top everything off, respected critic Nick Stock has awarded our 2010 Tempranillo 'Best Emerging Red' in The Age/Sydney Morning Herald Good Wine Guide 2012.
