MMV 30th Birthday Lunch in the Winery

October 2019

In 1988 Dr Edgar Riek and owner Mrs Dinny Killen planted the first hectare of Mount Majura Vineyard. To vigneron Dr Edgar Riek the site with an east-facing slope having limestone and volcanic rock had all the right components to be one of Canberra District’s best. The first wines were made in 1990, so the 2019 vintage will be our 30th. From founding visionary to current winemaker Frank van de Loo, we are excited to be celebrating our vineyard’s 30th birthday.

To celebrate we will be inviting close friends and members to enjoy a long lunch in the winery. We will be looking at current wines, some back vintages and much more.

Date and booking details to come.
