Members Chardonnay Vertical

With the release of the 2021 Chardonnay we are inviting our wine club members to join us for a journey through the history of Chardonnay here at Mount Majura Vineyard. Chardonnay is one of the original varieties planted in our vineyard in 1988, and expanded in 1999. It consistently produces wines that combine intensity of flavor with richness and balance. Traditionally made using wild ferments of cloudy juice in oak, the emphasis is on complexity and depth of character, combined with intense fruit and crisp structure.

This is a great and rare opportunity for members only to enjoy the current vintage alongside seven previous vintages. It’s a fun and exciting way to look at the history of our wines in the glass. While we make very little Chardonnay now it is always a favourite for Frank to make. As they say Chardonnay is a winemakers wine.

The tasting will be eight wines, Frank will be on hand to talk through the vintages and winemaking and the tasting should only take an hour.
