We are open every day from 10am to 5pm including most public holidays.

Welcome to our Cellar Door. We offer a range of guided wine tastings where you can embrace the atmosphere and the wonderful view of our vineyard. Offering informative and friendly options for all we have our Seated Tasting. The Premium Tasting includes a number of our best wines. Our current seasonal offering includes the Winter Truffle Tasting. For one night only as part of The Fireside Festival we have our Fireside Wine Bar on July 26th. Pick a nice sunny day and enjoy our Piquette Picnic.

Cellar Door is focused on what we do best: showcasing Mount Majura Vineyard and the wine we produce. As such there is unfortunately no restaurant or cafe on site and we do not cater for any functions or events. The maximum group size we can accomodate is 10. While we welcome any non-tasters such as drivers or children, and can accomodate dietary requirements, please ensure you add a note in the comments section on the next screen. Bookings can be cancelled and refunded up to the day prior.

Fireside Festival Wine Bar & Outdoor Fire Pit

Second date released – Friday the 2nd of August from 5:30pm

Welcome to the Fireside Wine Bar. Open one night only as part of the Canberra Wines Fireside Festival. Once the sun has set and cellar door has closed we will open up as the Mount Majura Vineyard Fireside Wine Bar. Numerous delectable cheeses will be provided by Le Cheeserie as well as gourmet cheese toasties. A number of other plates including charcuterie, rillettes, anchovies, olives and more will also be available. All our wines will be available by the glass and bottle with some Bentspoke beers to cleanse. And to ensure you get Fireside, finish by roasting marshmallows on our outdoor fire.

Truffle Infused Winter Tastings

It’s truffle season again! And we know the most delicious way to enjoy truffles is with our wines. Fresh truffles from our neighbour Jayson at The Truffle Farm is used to infuse a deliciously rich triple-cream brie. With this, we pour a flight of three 80ml glasses matched to the cheese. This will include our beautiful 2011 Late Disgorged Silurian Sparkling as well as pulling an aged vintage red from our cellar for the experience.

Available in June, July and August where truffles are available. Online bookings are recommended as this tasting has limited availability.
We allow up to 60 minutes for you to enjoy this experience.

Premium Seated Tasting

A terroir driven tasting experience. This tasting showcases the pinnacle of what our vineyard has to offer and includes our most exclusive wines. Enjoy our award-winning Late Disgorged Silurian Sparkling as well as our flagship variety Tempranillo. This tasting looks at the best varieties we grow and make at Mount Majura Vineyard.

This tasting includes around 6 wines and a small produce platter. We allow up to 60 minutes for you to enjoy this experience.

Our seated tasting is a great way to enjoy and get to know our range of wines. With over 15 different grape varieties growing on our site, there is always something new to discover!

Piquette Picnic
$45 for two people

The Piquette is a great drink to have in the afternoon sun while enjoying a picnic. Piquette is only 6% alc/vol so much less than our wines which is one of the reasons it lends itself to an afternoon drink. Made by stretching leftover grape skins with some water. Water + juice = wuice. And because it’s not wine, there are no rules! So for fun, we added some botanicals to the ferments, then bottled it with some reserved wuice to make it sparkle, and left all the goodness in there.

The picnic box will include Manchego and Brie Cheese, Tomato and Mango Chutney, Bacco Leaves Flatbread and Pork and Fennel Salami. Along with a Jasper + Myrtle chocolate. We will also provide you with a picnic blanket, some Riedel glassware and an ice bucket to keep your Piquette cold. Take these on a journey through the vineyard and find your perfect spot. Unfortunately we don’t have the ability to cater for dietaries such as vegan or dairy free in this pack.
